Charles is also a member of the Paul Harris Society. Charles enjoys time with family, travel, various community activities and photography. He and Sandra are active members of Asheboro's Balfour Baptist Church.

A charter member of the Gate City Rotary Club, Mike is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Bequest Society, Benefactor, and Sustaining Member of the Rotary Foundation. After a 31 year career with AT&T and Lucent Technologies, Mike retired in 2000. Following a brief retirement, he began his next career as Executive Director of the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Becky is retired from Greenville County Schools having served in elementary schools for 31 years. She has been a professor in the School of Education at the University of South Carolina Upstate since 2002.
